The dacq digital input/output module provides 16 opto-isolated inputs and 16 opto-isolated outputs, operating at TTL levels. The board also has a DSP chip which is able to generate precisely-timed TTL pulse patterns which may be used to drive an external stimulus isolator, or experimental apparatus (more...). The pulse outputs from this component are in addition to the 16 opto-isolated outputs.
Furthermore, this board includes a small RF receiver module which allows the operator to control the recording system using a wireless keyring transmitter.
